Boat Blaze smart watch review

Today we have another smart watch from Boat, the Boat Watch Blaze, and in this article we will do an unboxing and tell you how it performs. So the model name watch blaze is on the front of the box, along with a picture of the smartwatch.

Boat Blaze smart watch features include

  • The Spo2 monitoring system and the 1.75-inch HD display
  • More features, such as 24 hour heart rate monitoring, are available in the back. Notifications via text and social media.
  • Sleep tracking.
  • Various sports modes are available.
  • Cloud-based and custom-made watch faces are available.
  • 3 ATM dust, sweat, and splash proof.
  • You get call alerts with quick responses, as well as camera and music controls.

My first impression is that it appears to be a little large and a little heavier, which is primarily due to the metal body. In a moment, we'll take a look at the smartwatch.

Let's take a look at what's in the box. So we get the warranty card, and the Boat Blaze smartwatch is covered by a one-year warranty. Then there's the boat product catalogue, the user guide, which contains detailed information about the features, and finally the boathead sticker. Aside from that, the magnetic charging cable is included in the box.

So that's all we have in the box; now let's take a closer look at the Smartwatch. Boat watch Blaze has the largest display smartwatch and a high 500 nits brightness. In terms of design and build quality, we have a metal body in the boAt Blaze smartwatch, and the build quality is quite good.

The straps are made of high-quality material, and it fits well in the hand. The Boat Blaze watch comes with 22 mm straps that can be replaced with aftermarket straps.

In terms of the overall design, the 1.75-inch HD display is in the foreground. The At Blaze smartwatch appears to be a bit large due to the larger display, and you also get thick bezels at the bottom, which makes it even bigger on the hand, and if you have a small wrist, this watch will appear to be a bit large on your hand.

Looking at the right side, we can see the function buttons for operating the watch, and at the back, we can see the sensors, which include the heart rate and spo2 sensor, as well as the charging points.

Overall, we liked the build quality of the Boat Blaze watch, and the design is also good, but the overall profile of the Boat Blaze smartwatch is on the larger side.

Let us now turn it on and pair it with our phone. To pair, we'll need the Boat Hub app, which is available for both Android and iOS. The pairing process is straightforward; simply select the boat blaze from the list and confirm the parking request on the watch.

That's all there is to it; your smartwatch is now ready to use. So, starting with the watch features, here we are on the watch face, and long pressing allows you to switch between different watch faces. You also have the option to add more watch faces via the app, which I will show you in a moment.

Swiping down from the top reveals the quick settings, which include the raise to wake option, watch settings, dnd, Torch, brightness, and the alarm option. Swiping up from the bottom of the screen displays the notification history.

Swiping left or right on the watch face screen will take you to the quick apps. And here we have fitness information, heart rate, music, sleep, and weather.

Pressing the bottom button will launch the workout option, where you will find various workout options and a total of 14 sports modes. To get to the main menu, simply press the top button once.

Even though the touch response on the Boat Blaze smartwatch is excellent, there is some lag in the menu and minor stutters here and there.

Now, let's talk about the menu. First, there's the workout option, followed by the workout history, where you can see the history of your workouts, and finally, there's the heart rate, and the heart rate detection in the Boat Blaze smartwatch is quick, and you also get continuous heart rate monitoring.

Following the heart rate, we have the spo2 monitoring, which, like the other watches in this segment, takes some time but provides fairly accurate data. Following that is the activity record, which displays your current day's fitness data.

Then there's sleep, and this is where you can find information about your most recent night's sleep. Following that, we have the breathe menu, where you can do some breathing exercises and choose between fast, relax, and slow breathing patterns.

Then there's music, and with the Blaze smart watch, you can control the music on your phone as well as adjust the volume. Then there's the notification history, which is a message. Following that, we have the weather, where you can see the current weather as well as the weather forecast.

Then there's the standard stopwatch, timer, and alarm features, as well as the flashlight, which is yet another useful feature. Then there's the Find phone option in the menu, which plays the ringtone on your phone.

Following that, we have the camera, which allows you to remotely control the camera on your phone. To do so, you must enable it from the app, and it also works with the native camera app on your phone.

Finally, there are settings, where you can change the screen settings, which include watch faces and the screen timeout time.

After that, we have night mode, DND, and raise to wake, which we find to be quite responsive in the Boat Blaze smart watch, but it takes a little longer to wake up the screen.

Then there's the vibration intensity, brightness, and guys, the brightness on the BoAt Blaze smartwatch is very good, and with 500 nits of brightness, it's pretty bright, especially for outdoors.

Then there's the system, which has the standard power off, restart, and reset options. So that's all the features we have on the watch, and in terms of functionality, we believe you get almost all of them in this watch, but one thing we noticed is that you don't get stress monitoring in the boAt Blaze watch.

Let me now quickly demonstrate the companion app Boat Hub. As a result, the app's design is straightforward. On top, you'll see today's fitness data, followed by heart rate, sleep, and spo2 data. You can also view historical data by tapping on any of the cards.

On the top, we can see the connected device and the remaining battery. Then there's the watch face store. You get 100+ cloud-based watch faces in Boat Blaze smartwatch, and I think the watch face option is pretty good. The best part is that you also get custom watch faces, and I must say that you have a much better option for custom watch faces in Boat Blaze watch.

Following that, in the settings, we have general, where you can enable call alert, 24 hour time format, auto heart rate detection, and the raise to wake feature, and alert, where you can enable the idle alert as well as the drink water reminder.

Following that, we have app notifications, where you can select which apps you want to receive notifications for on your watch, and speaking of which, here is how you get the call alert, and guys in Boat Blaze smartwatch, you can reject the call and also send a quick reply message.

This quick reply only works with calls and text messages; it does not work with apps like Whatsapp, and there is no emoji support in the Boat Blaze smartwatch. You can also change the preset responses in the settings.

So that's all the features in the companion app, and I think it's user friendly and clutter-free. Overall, the boat blaze smartwatch has a good design and build quality, though the size is slightly larger due to the large screen, which may be an issue for females or those with smaller wrists.

The display is bright, and the performance is satisfactory. There is some lag and stuttering in the menu, which you will notice on different pages of the Boat Blaze smartwatch, but the touch response is excellent.

The fitness data appears to be fairly accurate, but you are limited to 14 sports modes. The battery backup is also adequate, with a one-week backup expected with moderate usage.

However, we believe that the Boat Blaze smartwatch is overpriced given the features it offers. It should be priced below 2500 rupees.

Nonetheless, if you're looking for a well-built, large-screen smartwatch with all of the necessary features, the Boat watch blaze is a great option.

That concludes the unboxing and review of the Boat Watch Blaze Smartwatch. Let us know what you think in the comments, and please let us know if you have any questions or comments about this Smartwatch.
