The new case sizes are now 41mm and 45 in height from 40 and 44. Apple was testing two prototypes both with one millimeter increment a third case for that bigger screen.
The metal case is now a little more rounded in order to accommodate that new screen that now curves beautifully against the body of the Apple Watch.
The speaker grille is a lot bigger now and it's one instead of the two we had before. We don't know yet if that means we're likely to get any volume improvements unless Apple says something what. There's a new green I'm not really a big fan but hey at least it's new.

This is so cool. I can't say I had any problems seeing my always-on screen indoors because my 5 Series was already quite bright. But outdoors it was really a bit different story as I was constantly struggling to read the screen while talking about the screen.
You probably already know that the screen is about 20 percent larger thanks to the bezels that are 40 percent thinner. This is not only due to the smaller bezels, but also to the lower line spacing of Series 6. So you can't fit more words in the same amount of space.

The new glass is 50 times thicker than the original design. The new design means there is a really big distance between the screen and the surface you're going to touch. The watch comes with a braided cell loop that will work with any Apple Watch that doesn't have the Original design.
It will not work with Series 3 or earlier with any single bot or braided when the Series 6 is released, it will work with any Apple watch potentially even with the Series 7.

Bezels are 20% smaller than previous versions. Now rather than squared like so many rumors have suggested, it's actually been rounded even more to accommodate the screen's new look.
This screen is thinner because the touch sensor built into the OLED panel, the screen appears to be made for the square version.
So when that didn't work, Apple ended up in this style and they ended up with the crystal 50% thicker. They've changed the geometry of it and that gives you the look the screen looks like goes all the way to the edge of the screen.

Now, one thing that sounds kind of cool is eight minutes of charging will provide eight hours of sleep tracking. So if you go through your day, getting ready to get into bed, charge your watch for a few minutes while you get ready, you'll be covered all night, and then turn it back on charger in the morning.
A 45 minute charge will take you from zero to 80%. Now let's talk about recommendations Apple Watch SE is the watch that I would recommend to most people. I think it's the best value, and it gives you almost everything in the next release.

Now just for a bit of comparison, the SE is $279 for the smaller size and $309 for the larger size, but to add a cell phone it's just an extra $50. For $359, you can get the SE Cellular instead of $529 for the Series 7.
If you look at the price at the base point, that's a huge saving there. As you scroll, the screen is always versus not always, it's the same clock, basically. And what to give up, if you just start scrolling down the list, check out the always-on screen.
Now, for the Series 3, I can't recommend this watch. I don't like that Apple is still making it like the iPhone 8, I think there are a lot of compromises and they only hold the product to a certain price point. It's a good watch, but that $80 difference between the 3 and the SE is you're talking about a huge difference in screen size.
You're talking about diff file, cell fall detection wizard view and the ability to add in a family group. All those different things, worth the extra $80 a SE should really be the base level would be $199, and Apple would have to retire 3.
You look at 3, it's a different device from the other two I just can't recommend 3. If you buy 3 or have 3, you're getting a great view.
You are getting a much better smartwatch than the competition. I just feel they are keeping it for the wrong reasons which is not in the best interest of the client.
So if you don't do your research and know and really get an idea of where it is I think saving $80 is giving away a lot, but that's just my thoughts.
Screen real estate, layout, how things have changed and you won't realize what you've missed until you stop receiving updates.

Now for the Series 7, unless you want a bigger screen, you're buying an Apple Watch for the first time, or have a YouTube channel you can blame, I can't really recommend it.
I think we're just at that point of incremental upgrades across the entire mobile technology space, and this is one of those times.
I don't think you will go wrong with any Apple Watch they are still the best out there. As we get closer as we learn more about Series 7, I'll be following along.
