Set up and pair your Apple smartwatch with your iPhone.

Hello friends Apple Watch is a smartwatch that primarily works with your iPhone.

Apple Smartwatch Series 6 unboxing, iPhone pairing and initial setup

We will go through all the features and settings of Apple smartwatch in detail, the watch comes in 40mm and 44mm sizes and it is 44mm has GPS plus cellular feature so we can make or receive phone calls from this watch even when our iPhone is not nearby.

Boxes come with a thin plastic wrap for setup These manuals and how-tos This is a charging cable that has a USB Type A at one end to be connected to a regular 5V portable charger.

This is the watch: aluminum, stainless steel and titanium are the three materials available for the case. We chose aluminum in aluminum there are other colors such as red, gray, silver and gold, and this is blue.

This is a digital crown that is used for scrolling and zooming This is a microphone This is the side button used to turn the watch on and off, perform emergency SOS etc.

These amplifiers are blood oxygen sensors and optical heart sensors to measure the blood oxygen level, heart rate and generate an electrocardiogram.

This watch has a new feature - always on retina display - Straps are located in this separate box Straps come in two sizes. This watch is water resistant up to 50m It is water resistant but not water resistant.

The watch can be used while swimming but should not be used for scuba diving and water skiing, which involve high speed water or immersion under shallow depth.

We can see a hole here where the tape can be slipped and installed. This watch has an internal storage space of 32 GB. This is the band release button. We can press this to pull the belt out.

Remember to insert the longer strap on the underside of the watch and the shorter strap on the upper side. To pair this watch, we need an iPhone 6s or later running iOS 14 or later.

It's really weird that the watch can't even be paired with an iPad, so before we buy an Apple watch, we must have an iPhone. The clock is ready to set now. In order to put this watch to charge, we have to insert this end into the mobile phone charger.

Apple Watch does not provide a charger even though it does charge quite a bit for the watch which is odd. This charger has flat surface and other curved surface. The watch should be placed on the curved surface.

Since it has a magnet, it will be automatically attracted and placed as the flat surface repels. Now let's set up this watch using our iPhone.

Let's turn on the watch by pressing the side button. On our iPhone, let's go to the App Store and search for "apple watch". Let's install the app from here.

If this app is already installed on your iPhone, skip this step and just open the app. Let's tap Start Pairing If your iPhone belongs to you, and your Apple ID is in your name, go to Setup for Myself or choose Setup for a family member.

Let's put the iphone camera on the top of the watch to align the image with the viewfinder. It asks to update the iPhone. I'll prefer to do this later, so let's hit "Skip update and continue".

Now let's click on "Set up Apple Watch". Let's choose the wrist on which we will wear the watch. Pairing will take some time. Let's agree with the terms and conditions. Again this will take some time. Let's enable Find My Watch, which helps locate your watch if it is stolen or lost.

Let's enable Tracking. Let's set the clock display font size from here which can be edited later as well. This can be done from both the watch and the iphone.

We can keep the font style bold or normal as per our choice. Creating a passcode is optional if you are setting up the watch for yourself, but if you are setting it up for a family member, a passcode is a must. Sharpness can be adjusted by filling in these details I'd better put it later.

If you want, you can do it yourself. Now let's enable the watch to check the oxygen level in the blood. This is for automatic updating of the watch. This is for high and low heart rate notifications. This is an SOS emergency.
