Xiaomi Mi Watch VS Apple Watch

Xiaomi Mi Watch; Today we will compare Sharma's first real smart watch, the Xiaomi Mi watch, to the Apple Watch 5. There are many things to discuss.

Xiaomi Mi Watch and Apple Watch design comparison.

Let's start with the design. As many people have noticed, there are many similarities between these two watches. It's clear that Xiaomi is attempting to mimic the design of the Apple Watch.

However, they don't want it to look exactly the same because they won't be able to sell it in the US and Europe. The issue is that they chose a boxy design that makes the watch appear even thicker than it is. In fact, the rounded corners of the Apple Watch make the overall shape of the watch appear smaller.

Although the Moo watch is only 2 millimeters thicker than the Apple Watch 5, changing the straps is not as simple as it should be. On the Apple Watch, there is a section that prevents access to the spring bar.

There may be a comparison if changing the band is quick and simple. As you can see, this small cut out part of the strap is a problem because it prevents you from using standard sized drops.

When I compare it to the standard 20 millimeters strap, you can see the difference and simply can't fit. Now, let's go over some of the main features. The notifications can be accessed by swiping down from the top of the watch.

Swiping from the bottom reveals the main settings, which are very similar to the upper watch what Sharma did settings. The goal here is to create its own skin on top of Google's wear OS that resembles the main features of the Apple Watch.

Touch the display for about three seconds to access the watch faces. The Xiaomi Mi watch, on the other hand, does not support force touch on both watches.

You can change the look of your watch faces. However, on Mi Watch, this feature is severely limited due to the scarcity of watch faces that support customization. Another feature that is available on both watches is the always-on watch face.

The always-on watch face on the Xiaomi Mi Watch continues to work even when the watch is not on your wrist, unlike the Apple Watch, which will turn it off if you do not wear it to save battery life.

Now is the time to discuss the battery life on the Xiaomi Mi watch, which I get about 3 to 4 days and the Apple watch, which I usually get 1 or 2 days depending on how I use it.

The Xiaomi Watch has a larger battery than the Apple Watch, which is one of the reasons for its thicker design.

Now, let's talk about the apps. Because this is a Chinese version, most of the apps that come with it are designed for China, which is why I recommend you wait for the international version for the time being.

The Xiaomi Mi Watch is available in China for 1300 yuan ($180), and it only works with Android devices. However, when I spoke with the staff at the Xiaomi store, they informed me that the watch will support iPhone and that the app will be released soon.

There is also a radio app, but it only plays Chinese radio stations. When watching videos, you can only control the volume.

Someone asked in the comments if you could watch videos on the new watch, and the answer is no for the time being. There is no such application.

Me watch only has a heart rate monitoring feature, whereas Apple Watch also has AKG. When it comes to watch faces, the MU watch has a plethora of them, just like the Apple Watch, and you can access them via the app on your phone or the watch itself.

The difference here is that on the MU watch, most of the watch faces are only accessible via the watch swipe from the right only watch row, which also reveals some of its fitness tracking features.

On the international version of the Xiaomi Mi Watch, the function of the power button can be changed and used to access the voice assistant, for example. Like the Apple Watch, the power button can be used to activate Google's voice assistant.

The new watch can make calls and also supports Isom, which means you can receive phone calls even if your phone is not with you.

However, it is unclear whether this feature will be available on the international version. Here is how the Xiaomi Mi Watch display appears in bright daylight.

When it comes to applications, I believe it is difficult to compare Mi Watch to Apple Watch because Apple Watch has a large number of apps.

The Xiaomi Mi Watch is compatible with two applications: the me where app and Google's where OS, both of which have limited functionality.

We can do most of the settings and feature configurations in the watch itself using these two applications. Having said that, keep in mind that this is Xiaomi's first true smart watch, and we can't expect it to compete with the Apple Watch.

However, we can expect many updates and improvements in the coming months. For example, the Apple Watch app has all of the settings and features in one place, making it very easy to find what you need.

This is extremely perplexing on the Xiaomi Mi Watch. When it comes to speed, charging a new watch is very simple. There is nothing fancy here; it simply works. Xiaomi did an excellent job.

The Xiaomi Mi Watch is very responsive; however, there is some lag in some applications, such as maps, but overall responsiveness is excellent.

Of course, the Xiaomi Mi Watch has a long way to go, but this is just the beginning, and given how quickly Xiaomi develops their products, we can expect a much better SmartWatch as early as next year. Until then, stay cool, and don't forget to comment.
