Cubot ID206 Smartwatch ($31.00$)

So let's jump into an unboxing and see what we get with our smartwatch do you remember so the cubot id 206 is very similar to the sorts of things we've seen before one feature that does immediately stand out is the alexa support this isn't something we tend to see on smartwatches at this price point so that could be the id 206's stand out feature.

Cubot ID206 Smartwatch Design

That is all there is to it Design-wise, it clearly takes a more Apple Watch approach here, and it's very similar to the real me watch 2 pro we reviewed a few weeks ago, with a nice big 1.7-inch screen.

It also has a physical crown button on the side for stepping back and turning on and off, though twisting the crown won't do anything like on the Apple Watch. I like that it's not too thick.

It feels comfortable on the wrist, and the rubber straps are adequate. I wouldn't expect anything else at this price point, which is around the 30 pound mark.

Finally, the build quality feels about as you'd expect; it's not blowing my mind, but I can appreciate that some thought has gone into the materials used here; I believe it will withstand a few knocks and bands with ease.

Now we have a heart rate accuracy test, but first let's go over the cubot id 206's features and specifications. So we have five atm waterproofing, which is pretty cool for a watch at this price point, and we also have Alexa voice assistant, which is probably the most important feature of this watch.

To be honest, it will give you a more flagship-like experience, which could be quite useful for some people, especially if you have a lot of smart devices around your house. Of course, you can receive call, email, and text notifications.

Although it is worth noting that you cannot make phone calls on the watch, as you would with a Galaxy Watch, other important features include 18 days of battery life and up to 55 to 60 days of standby time, which is pretty extreme.

In comparison to other watches in its price range, it falls somewhere in the low to mid range if workout modes are important to you. Finally, we have all of the tracking features you'd expect, such as heart rate tracking, blood oxygen monitoring, and sleep tracking.

The heart rate tracking is actually continuous, which is a bonus. There are other features on the watch, of course, such as a media controller, camera shutter stress management, and a few other bits.

The ID206 appears to be a good device on paper, but how does it perform in a heart rate and spo2 accuracy test?

Let's find out. To do this, I'll be using my trusty o2 ring, which the guys at well you provided me with. It's medical grade and sends live heart rate and spo2 readings straight to my phone.

Okay, here's the cubot id 206. So, let's start with the heart rate accuracy. As always, I perform several tests to ensure everything is fair, but I have to say that first impressions are very positive.

It's currently outperforming some more expensive devices, such as the ticwatch e3, which is pretty amazing when you think about it.

It does need to catch up with herself, but there are very few discrepancies here. Personally, I'm really impressed with the heart rate accuracy now for the sp02; it's not quite as good as the heart rate sensor, but it's close.

The only thing that concerns me is that it's consistently several percent off, which in testing many other smart watches rarely happens in a sp02 test. So, based on this test, Cubot ID206 one of the less accurate watches I've tested in terms of sp02, but it is a 30 pound watch.

So it'll be perfectly fine for general health monitoring; it's always in the ballpark, so I'm not going to tell you not to buy this watch because of the spo2 accuracy.

So that's the accuracy test over with. I was pleasantly surprised with the heart rate accuracy.

It's a shame about the spo2 accuracy, but I would argue that that feature isn't going to be as important to people. Let me know what you think of spo2 monitoring in the comments section.

So, should you purchase a Cubot ID 206? Overall, I give it a thumbs up because it's a very affordable competitive smartwatch for its price category. You can also get the Cubot ID206 Smartwatch and other watches at a special price and a discount of up to 40% through this link

I'm not a huge fan of the UI and OS, but as I keep saying, you really do have to consider the price and value for money here, and it really does get top marks in that category.

So, if you're looking for a smart watch for general health monitoring, I believe this is more than adequate. I believe you are getting a lot of smartwatch and features for the price, but please let me know what you think of the Cubot ID206 Smartwatch in the comments section.

Would you buy a smartwatch at this price point or would you prefer a more flagship experience?
