If you're into fitness and looking for a good smartwatch, I found something that might be of interest to you: a 2022's ID206 with Alexa Assistant built in, which we're reviewing today.
I'm going to tell you everything you need to know about the ID206 smart watch. It's a low-cost smart watch that costs around 40 USD (American dollars) or 35 GBP (british pounds).
ID206 smart watch Specifications
What makes it unique is that it works with the Amazon Alexa virtual assistant. The ID206 watch has a microphone and a key that you can tap on to create a quick voice command and ask a question, such as "what's the weather?" or control of various appliances in your home.
ID206 smartwatch has a 1.7 inch TFT LCD display, which is slightly larger than other popular budget smart watches. Thes watch has a 5 degree brightness, the colors are very vivid, and there are several different customizable watch faces.
More of them can be found in a companion app called VeryFit. The screen is made of curved glass and has a premium look and feel to it. It is touch sensitive and responsive.
At the bottom of the ID206 smartwatch are PPG sensors for heart rate and blood pressure monitoring, magnetic pins for the charging cable, and a microphone for Alexa.

The ID206 watch has a round crown function button on the side, which is reminiscent of the Apple Watch, but this is obviously subjective.
The watch's body is made of zinc alloy material, which provides a fairly sturdy construction, while the bottom is made of polycarbonate plastic.
Is the ID206 waterproof?
The ID206 is IP68 certified, which means it can withstand dust, dirt, and sand and can be submerged for up to 30 minutes at a maximum depth of 1.5 meters.
The silicone straps are removable and replaceable with any 20 millimeter wristband of your choice. It is available in the following colors: pink, blue, black, white, red, and green.

The ID206, like most budget smart watches, is sold under several different brands, but they are all the same watch, such as Letscom, Jikko, Vigorun, Lifebee, Yonmig, Eefinite, DOOGEE, Trying, and YSNJG.
It's very popular and sold under various brand names in various countries. It's a different name, but it's still the same ID206 product.
It works in conjunction with a dedicated "VeryFit" app; to access the Apple Store or Google Play, you must scan a QR code with your smartphone, as the app is compatible with both iOS and Android.
Bluetooth 5.0 is used to connect the smartwatch and the mobile device. It does not pair with tablets or computers, so you must use the smartwatch to connect it to the ID206.
The menu interface is quite simple: press and hold to change the watch face, swipe down to read back the notifications (you can read them but not reply to them), which is very similar to the other budget watches in this price range.
Swipe up to get quick shortcuts, a non-disturb mode, wrist movement detection, brightness control, and the find phone function. To access the step counter, calories burned, and distance traveled measurement, swipe left. A further swipe brings you to the heart rate monitoring, where the data is plotted.

So you can see graphs of a continuous heart rate over 24 hours, and it resets after midnight, and when you're constantly paired with your smartphone, it collects data that can then be shared with apps like Apple Health or Strava. We tested its accuracy with a much more expensive smartwatch, the "Polar Vantage M2," which has a decent accuracy.
The ID206 performs admirably, with nearly identical heart rate readings! Swipe to the next widget and you'll see stress level measurements. This is an estimate based on your heart rate, so if your heart rate fluctuates too much, it will tell you that you're stressed.
Swipe it again - you now have access to 14 different tracking modes, including an outdoor run, an indoor run, an outdoor walk, an indoor walk, hiking, outdoor cycling, cricket, yoga, indoor cycling, workout, pool swim, and open water swim.
As previously stated, it has an IP68 certification, which means it can withstand submersion up to 1.5 meters, rower, and elliptical. It has automatic movement detection only for walking and running, which can be enabled in the companion app.
Any other exercise tracking will require you to turn it on manually, which will give you a three-second countdown.
Following that, it will track your heart rate, pace, step count, and travel distance throughout the session. In terms of step accuracy, over several tests, my wife used ID206 and counted about 100 steps while the watch counted 96.
So, since there is no built-in GPS, id206 relies on your smartphone's GPS and uses maps and location when the two devices are connected via bluetooth. Once the devices are connected, you can use your smartphone to control your music app. You could skip to the next song and also adjust the volume.
Because it includes the Amazon Alexa assistant, you'll need to set it up in the app first by logging in to your Amazon account, and then the app will show you examples of what you can ask Alexa.
Let's put it to the test: - Alexa, how are you? I'm feeling poetic, she replied. It takes about 10 seconds to respond to your question. Obviously, your ID206 and smartphone must be linked via Bluetooth. - Alexa, how is it outside today Today's temperature is 12 degrees Celsius.
Let's try something different: - Alexa, what are we cooking today? Okay, I recommend BBC Good Food's easy chocolate fudge cake, which isn't exactly what I was looking for.
You can activate the Alexa assistant without going through the entire menu by pressing and holding the crown button on the side for a few seconds.
SPo2 blood oxygen saturation - this is a request-only function, so you must activate it manually. SPo2, also known as oxygen saturation, is a measurement of the amount of oxygen-carrying hemoglobin in a blood relative to the amount of hemoglobin that does not carry oxygen.
ID206's stress level monitor, stress scores, guided breathing, and mindfulness are all becoming important features. Sleep tracking measures both light and deep sleep.
It does not track daytime sleep like more expensive watches and trackers, only nighttime sleep. It is fine, unless you work night shifts, in which case the sleep tracking will not function properly.
Deep diaphragmatic or abdominal breathing exercises can help reduce anxiety by allowing your lungs to expand and creating negative pressure that drives in through the nose and mouth, filling your lungs with air.
The exercise is best done seated with your back straight, but it can also be done lying in bed or during yoga. ID206 notifies you whenever you receive a notification, such as a call, SMS, or app message from Facebook, Twitter, Whatsapp, Instagram, LinkedIn, Skype, and so on.
It vibrates to warn you not to miss any important news. The notification for incoming calls is supported, but you can only reject the call; you cannot pick up the call.

The weather forecast is pushed from your smartphone when connected. The ID206 allows for some customization; you can select and download a variety of available watch faces via the companion app.
You can also make your own personalized watch face by using any photo or image from your smartphone as a background, scaling it, and cropping it. You can only store one watch face in the smart watch at a time if you create your own or download one from the app selection.
To quickly change the watch face, press and hold it for three seconds before selecting one of four factory watch faces or your customized one. There are several cool features, such as a reminder to drink water.
My wife adores this feature: it has a sedentary reminder, which reminds you to get up and move when you spend too much time sitting in one position, such as at work.
Who wants to monitor their menstrual cycle?
All you have to do is enter and configure your menstrual details in the app, and the smartwatch will do the rest by notifying you about your next menstrual cycle ahead of time.
The battery will last you around 10 days if the watch is constantly paired via bluetooth with your smartphone, which means it loses about 10% of its battery per day.

If you use your ID206 in standalone mode, which means you keep your watch unconnected from your smartphone, the battery will last you up to four weeks! and that's quite good! Just so you know, a full charge takes approximately one and a half to two hours.
